Robert Eutzy

ONTARIO: Robert "Bob" Eutzy, 61, of Ontario, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving wife and family, on Saturday, September 19, 2015. He was born March 13, 1954, in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, to William and Mary Anne Eutzy.

Bob graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1976. He began his career in 1976 with Lumbermen's Mutual Insurance in Mansfield, Ohio. He then became owner and President of KMU Insurance. He completed his career of over 30 years with his retirement from Dawson Insurance in Ontario, Ohio, where he served as President.

In 2009, Bob was diagnosed with a brain tumor. With courage, strength and determination, he lived his life to the fullest. Traveling to Florida in the winters and spending time with his family and grandchildren created special moments in his life. Bob loved being on the golf course and was a member and past President of Westbrook Country Club. He was happy being outdoors, working on his landscaping and cleaning his cars. Bob was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather and the lessons he taught his family will live on in each of them.

Bob is survived by his father, William Eutzy; his wife, Connie (Flynn) Eutzy; sister, Barbara (John) Rigo; sons, Brant (Sarah) and Cole Eutzy; daughters, Alisha and Jackie Eutzy; four stepsons, Travis (Kylee), Josh (Kelly), Dustin (Aaron), and Jeremy Palm. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Ella, Emma, Jillian and William; six step grandchildren, Addison, Braden, Riley, Issy, Emma, and Evalee; and two nephews, Dave and Mike Rigo. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Anne (Dickey) Eutzy.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, September 23, 2015, in the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The funeral service conducted by Pastor Greg Loesch and David Finney will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery, 389 Altamont Avenue, Mansfield, Ohio.
