Michael J. Dalton

MANSFIELD – Michael J. Dalton, 41, of 10113 Allenwood Drive, Riverview, Fla., died unexpectedly Tuesday (5-2-1995) at his home.

Born May 7, 1953, he was the co-owner of the Dugout Tavern in Ashland before moving to the Tampa Bay area 15 years ago.

He was a environmental technician and a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church.
He is survived by his father, Robert Dalton of Mansfield; a brother, Timothy R. Dalton of Mansfield; his companion, Mary L. McAuliffe of Riverview, Fla.; sister-in-law, Terri Dalton of Mansfield; and a niece and nephew.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Armstrong Dalton.
Calling hours at Geiger-Herlihy Funeral Home Sunday from 2 to4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where the vigil prayer service will be held at 7 p.m.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated by the Rev. Herbert Weber at St. Peter’s Catholic Church Monday at 1 p.m.
Burial will be in Mansfield Catholic Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Msgr. Edward C. Dunn Foundation for Education.
