T. Scott Hamms

MANSFIELD – Former Mansfielder T. Scott Hamms II, 43, of Cincinnati, died Saturday Feb. 1, 1997, at University Hospital in Cincinnati after a car accident.

Born July 30, 1953, in Mount Vernon, he graduated from Malabar High School in 1973.  He lived with his family in Cincinnati for the past 10 years.  He was regional sales manager for Overland Trucking Co. and a member of the Central United Methodist Church.  He was a member of several professional transportation associations.

Surviving are his wife, Delphia Dill Hamms; two daughters, Heidi Lynn Hamms abd Mandy Renee Hamms, both of Cincinnati; three sisters, Sally Monarchi of Mansfield, Marilyn Jefferies of Conway N.H., and Gina Haring of Milford, Ohio; and a brother, Donald Hamms of Westerville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Scott Hamms, Sr. and Bessie Irene Hamms, and by a brother, Rodney Hamms.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Craver-Riggs Funerla Home, Milford.
