"I had a great time at the reunion.  It was really a nice touch that the committee turned this into a whole week event.  So many events to create and execute and so many people to contact.  That is allot of work.  Felt like I had signed up for a cruise.  All your work made this an impressive, fun event."

"I had never seen the reformatory close and had not been to Kingwood since being a child.  I discovered much about Mansfield history that I was completely unaware of.  The industrial museum was candy for an engineer."

"This was not just a vacation or a sightseeing tour.  It was a deeper experience for me.  I left Mansfield with a feeling of pride, not for me, but for the amazing lives and paths people have chosen.  I got the feeling that the competition of success was over and the realization that the value of our lives cannot be measured by our jobs, or what we have accumulated.  Accomplishments have paled with age and lost their value.  There are no winners or losers.  Everyone attending in some respect is a survivor.  A survivor of the turbulent storms of life and we have arrived at still waters.   I felt a sense of wisdom and acceptance when I talked with people.  I wish I could have talked with more people about their journey, but it was also a time for fun and sharing HS memories."

"As much as people have changed physically, what has not changed is their smiles, personalities, mannerisms, and sense of humor.  It brought me back to the fun and friendships of HS."
